Medical tourism is a relevant issue presented by the Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA) at a seminar dedicated to the development of this tool in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The growth of the competitive environment in the medical tourism market dictates a rise in the quality level and a reduction in the prices for such services, as there are new countries emerging on the market ready to offer them. For the Republic of Kazakhstan, active development of health tourism will allow clinics to improve the quality of services and attract the stream of foreign patients. This issue will also be discussed in detail in an open seminar from experts of the Association of Medical Tourism Agencies.
The great demand for medical tourism requires a careful approach and certification of specialists. The development of this industry directly depends on the quality proposals. In this regard, the school of medical tourism in Kazakhstan will be opened at AstanaLeisure 2017 - an unprecedented project whose main goal is to establish standards for individuals and organizations participating in the health tourism sector to further develop high-quality services.
In addition, the participants will conduct a series of seminars that will present the tourist potential of various regions and countries that will be of interest to both travel agencies and air carriers.
